45 for 45! Celebrate My Birthday by Donating to Alzheimer Toronto
For my 45th birthday this year, I'm asking for donations to a non-profit close to my heart - the Alzheimer Society of Toronto. I'm calling my appeal, 45 for 45. By making a donation of $45 (or any other amount) you are helping the Alzheimer Society of Toronto provide supportive care, educational programs and fund innovative research.
I've had the good fortune of working at AST for the past 6 years in various roles. I have seen first hand the impact the organization has on people living with Alzheimer's and dementia as well as their care partners and family. I have the great privilege of spending my days with our clients. I get to know their names, their stories, their challenges, their wins. I learn from them; I laugh with them; and I even cry with them. Some of their stories are uplifting - others are heartbreaking. Not a day goes by that I'm not touched or inspired by their grace in the face of adversity.
Please give (anything helps – big or small!) in support of the services and programs at The Alzheimer Society of Toronto. Thank you!
