My Event is Supporting:
Programs and services delivered in the local community by the Alzheimer Society of Toronto
Sunday, December 15, 2019
Location of Event:
Nathan Phillips Square - Toronto City Hall
Note from Steve:
This winter, I will kick off my marathon Skate in Toronto and will continue onto 11 cities in the 9 provinces as a tribute to my mother who lived with Alzheimer's disease for 13 years and for all those who have been affected by this disease.
For my Toronto skate, I will step on the ice, at Nathan Phillips Square, at exactly 12:00 AM on Sunday, December 15, 2019 and will skate until 7:26 PM.
My mother's birthday was December 15. I will skate for a total of 19 hours and 26 minutes which is the year my mother was born.
I am asking everyone to donate in memory of my mother.
1926 Skate Office Pool:
Have your fellow employees pool their donations together and submit it to the donation page under the company name. Don't forget to ask your company to match what you raise. When I finish the 1926 skate at Nathan Philip Square on Sunday, December 15th, we will draw one company name out of the office pool names and Phil and Marcio from XPress BBQ will provide a free lunch to the staff of that selected company.
Thank you kindly,
