National Skate Day for Alzheimer's
Steve McNeil has had the honour of traveling across Canada twice, skating 34 times in some of the coolest places in our country. Starting in January, the second Saturday each year, will be National Skate Day for Alzheimer's where everyday Canadians can skate in their own community while being part of the national movement skating in their own community

By taking part in National Skate Day for Alzheimer's, Canadians can help to reduce the stigma associated with Alzheimer's disease, and other forms of dementia and raise funds to support programs and services offered by the local Alzheimer Society.

- Lace up your skates and go skating on January 14th at your local arena or pond

Alzheimer Society employees and volunteers will be at local arenas on January 14th to raise awareness in our community about dementia and and the services offered by the Alzheimer Society. More details to come.
