About The Quest

The Quest is a province-wide virtual fundraising campaign that will bring together Heroes from across Ontario to support caregivers and people living with dementia. It is the perfect way to bring the whole family together while supporting a great cause.

Join us as we fundraise for our local communities and participate in fun challenges along the way. Every step you take with us on this journey will bring us one step closer to conquering Alzheimer’s and dementia across Ontario.

For answers to some of our frequently asked questions, see below.

During the event, Heroes are encouraged to fundraise to meet their personal fundraising goal and complete a total of 12 quests to earn virtual badges and successfully conquer their journey. The quests will help you exercise your mind and body, practice wellness and gratitude, and teach you the importance of care. You can complete the quests at your own pace, either all at once or throughout the event. The decision is up to you!
After you finish each quest, Heroes must complete a quick survey and a “secret code” will activate your badge and appear on your personal fundraising page for everyone to see. It’s that simple!
The first 250 Heroes who complete ALL the quest challenges and earn all their badges will be eligible to receive an exclusive Hero Medal. Your Hero Medal, if you choose to accept it, will be delivered to your address provided at registration.
Anyone of any age can register, fundraise and participate in The Quest.
Alzheimer’s disease affects thousands of individuals and families in Ontario every year. The Quest will raise crucial funds for programs and services for Alzheimer Societies across the province. The COVID-19 pandemic has made the lives of people living with dementia much more difficult and the Alzheimer Society continues to help navigate their journey by reaching out by phone, email, and virtually across Ontario to maintain necessary connections with people living with dementia and their families facing isolation.
No, however our goal, through the fundraising efforts of our participants, is to help fund vital programs and services offered by Alzheimer Societies within Ontario. We suggest that each participant aim to raise a minimum of $100 and are always available to offer any support/advice on how to exceed your goal! Plus, top fundraising participants and teams will be eligible to win exclusive prizes.
Tax receipts will be automatically issued for online donation amounts of $20 and over. All other tax receipts will be issued upon request. To receive a tax receipt, the donor’s name and address must be complete and legible.
