DONATE

Dear Supporter,

Although World Alzheimer’s Month is over, the Catherine Booth and Michael Kirk Social Recreation Fund has extended the chance for you to double your monthly impact!

“We wanted to do something meaningful to honour the memory of my dad, Walter. He was a great father, mentor, leader, and philanthropist who taught us the power of giving. Together, we honour him and carry on his legacy through this matching gift.” - Catherine Booth

Will you support people living with dementia and their care partners and help provide access to crucial social recreation programs, education, and counselling?

Goodbye Taryl

We are sad to say goodbye to Taryl Bougie. Taryl joined our team in 2017 as our first ever Minds in Motion Coordinator and was instrumental in bringing that program to life! She brought the same enthusiasm over to our Education Team when she joined them in 2020. Taryl’s focus remained on ensuring clients had opportunities to meaningfully engage with each other. We will miss Taryl and wish her the very best!

 Brain Teasers

Challenging your brain regularly is one way to keep your brain healthy and reduce your risk of developing dementia. It is also an important strategy in living well with the disease. Stay cognitively active and have some fun by trying these games! Give your brain a regular workout!
