This workshop will provide care partners, members of the general public, or professionals with an overview of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It will focus on being aware of the signs and symptoms and the importance of early diagnosis.

Learning Objectives:

  • Difference between Alzheimer’s disease and dementia
  • Describe the characteristic brain changes that occur in Alzheimer’s Disease
  • List the warning signs of dementia and state how to get a diagnosis
This workshop will be presented online using Zoom.
