Art Series

active living

Location: Toronto Memory Program

Join us for an 6-week art series workshop to learn, experiment, and explore creativity with a variety of art projects and mediums. This workshop, offered in an encouraging and relaxing environment and by a professional art teacher, is for people living with dementia and their caregivers.

Studies have shown that art making promotes relaxation, improves the mood and reduces the stress related to memory loss and caregiving.

The failure-free environment in our art program can help the participants living with dementia and their caregivers to build relationships and gain confidence.

No experience is necessary! Materials and refreshments are provided.
