Art Series: Printmaking
Alzheimer Society of Toronto

This 6-session workshop on creating handmade mono-prints uses a watercolour technique.  This is a very satisfying and forgiving process that involves painting on the service of a small acrylic plate.  As each layer of paint dries, we will add more colour in a variety of ways. Each week we will develop the process, prepare images and then print.  Other simple printmaking techniques will be incorporated into the sessions.  Each participant will receive a frame to complete one favourite art piece.

This workshop is for people living with early stage dementia and their care partners.

All materials are provided.
