Join the Largest Walk for Dementia in Canada

The Walk for Memories is a family friendly, fun and inspiring event. It is an annual way to celebrate life, honour a caregiver, and come together with a community of people who understand the devastating impact of this disease. It is a courageous way to help support those living with the disease, and show that we are leading the way to end Alzheimer's.

Help us honour and remember the people who have lived with dementia, and join us in the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.

About the Walk

Follow the road to victory on this year’s new 2K route! There will be great music and entertainment, and the event will bring together over 1,500 individuals who have been touched by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

The new indoor walk route will take you from the MTCC, North Building - Hall C, through the Skywalk and returning back to the MTCC.

Sarah Pietrkiewicz: Your Walk Support

Hi! My name is Sarah, and I walk in memory of my grandmother who had dementia and in support of the amazing team at the Alzheimer Society of Toronto.

Alzheimer's disease touches so many people and knows no barriers, and that's why it is important that we support each other and lead the way to a better life for those living with dementia.

By registering today and fundraising for the Walk for Memories, you can walk in honour of your loved ones and for the many lives who have been touched by the disease.

If you have any questions about how to register or about the event at our NEW location, you can reach me at spietrkiewicz@alz.to or 416-640-6302.

I look forward to welcoming you to Walk for Memories 2017 and meeting you at the event!
