10 Warning Signs


May 10 |  7pm - 8pm

10 Warning Signs: Should I be Worried? Learn to identify common early signs of dementia and explore the difference between early signs of dementia and common age-related memory changes. Brain Health and Our Diet

Types of Dementia


May 24 | 7pm - 8:00pm

What is the difference between Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia? This session provides an introduction to the most common types of dementia including Alzheimer’s disease, Vascular, Lewy Body, Frontal Temporal, and mixed dementia. What is Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI)?

Learn What MCI is and how is it different than dementia. Brain Health
101

Learn how to incorporate healthy brain choices into your everyday life - including some of the latest research on nutrition and exercise. Life After Dementia:
Bereavement Support Group


June 7, 14, 21, 28 | 9:45 - 11:45am
This 4-week bereavement support program is offered to care partners who have lost a loved one to dementia. The group will offer both opportunities for education and time for discussion. Location: Alzheimer Society Stratford Branch, 1020 Ontario Street, Unit 5. For more information, email Christy or call 519-271-1910 ext. 21.


Minds in Motion


This 8-week program incorporates physical activity and mental stimulation for people with early to mid-stages of dementia and their care partners. Each session offers gentle and easy to follow physical activities led by a certified senior fitness instructor. Advanced registration is required for in person Minds in Motion by contacting Pamela or call 519-271-1910 ext. 27.

Virtual Paint Party


Staying active and socialization are two vital parts of aging well. This 1.5-hour art program was created in partnership with Vanessa at Kind-heARTed Studio to foster creativity and socialization. Virtual Paint Party runs through Zoom. Materials required to participate in this program will be delivered to the homes of registered clients prior to program start. Advanced registration is required - please contact Pamela at 519-271-1910 ext 27. Limited space available.
