Dear Friend,

We are excited to welcome back our IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s this May.

The event is being planned as both in person walks - Listowel and Stratford and “Walk your Way in the Month of May” Listowel, Stratford and St. Marys. Starting in May, you can complete your steps in any way you choose in one day, in one week, or over the whole month! And we are so excited to be back in person on Saturday, May 28 at 10:00am in both Stratford and Listowel!

This challenge is for everyone, so make sure to get your friends and family involved and hit your 3,047 steps by heading out on a long walk, dancing, or by doing an active exercise activity of your choice!

All funds raised stay in Perth and Huron County to help people living with dementia and their care partners access programs and services. Together we can provide help for today and hope for tomorrow!

“The unification of the Huron and Perth Alzheimer Societies makes sense in so many ways. This allows us to combine our resources to support as many people in Huron and Perth Counties as possible. It also facilitates easier access to us by our community partners. We remain focused on serving people living with dementia and their care partners, the very best that we can.” — Nancy Walker, Chair, Board of Director, Alzheimer Society Huron Perth

As of April 1, 2022, after a year plus of dedication and hard work, the Alzheimer Society Huron County and the Alzheimer Society Perth County are officially one Alzheimer Society - the Alzheimer Society Huron Perth.

We are excited about our future as we believe, together, we will be stronger and better able to serve those living with dementia and their care partners. We are committed to continuing to provide local and enhanced services throughout our region. READ MORE »
