Taking Control of our Lives

This 8-week program aims to help people living with dementia develop skills, increase confidence, and feel empowered to take control of their lives by talking with and learning from others who may share similar experiences. Using Dialogue Education, this program shares new information while building on what you already know.

Topics include:

  • Memory strategies, adapting to changes.
  • Finding purpose and meaning.
  • Communication strategies.
  • Emotional wellness.
  • Building and keeping connections.
  • Transforming with loss, inclusive spaces, and more.

Dates and Times: -

This is an 8-week program beginning:

Wednesday, June 28 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Wednesday, July 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Wednesdays, August2, 9 and 16 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

COST: This program is FREE.

Pre-screening is required to confirm participation.
