Night Out at the Movies
The Bloor Hot Docs Cinema

We are proud to invite you to our fourth annual film screening at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema, in partnership with MedicAlert Foundation Canada. This year we’re screening a wonderful documentary about living life to its fullest and the power of friendship.

“Sybil and Betts” tells the story of two remarkable women and their lifelong friendship. However, when Betts is diagnosed with dementia, Sybil must rally friends and family together to protect and care for her best friend, putting a new twist into an old relationship. The strength with which they adjust to this difficult reality, while continuing to celebrate the joys of life, clearly demonstrates their deep commitment and the power of love to sustain a bond under the most challenging circumstances.
