TIFF Senior's Film Fridays - The Agony and the Ecstasy

In partnership with the Toronto International Film Festival, we invite you to a free screening of The Agony and The Ecstasy.

The Agony and the Ecstasy recounts the struggle between Michelangelo (Charlton Heston) and his patron Pope Julius II (Rex Harrison) over the artist's frescoing of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

Please note this film is 2 hours long.

Seniors' Film Fridays is funded in part by the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program. 

COST: FREE, registration is required and includes:

  • Free access to a post screening film talk
  • Complimentary refreshment during the film talk
  • Reimbursement for travel cost may be provided (i.e. TTC senior fare)
