Research Night - Living, Growing, and Transforming with Loss
Alzheimer Society of Toronto

While dementia often brings many challenges and experiences of loss, there are also opportunities for growth and transformation for persons living with dementia and all who engage in relationship with them. Christine will share what she continues to learn from persons living with dementia about how to live, grow and transform with loss.

Christine Jonas-Simpson is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at York University and the Director of the York-UHN Academy and the Dotsa Bitove Wellness Academy for persons living with memory loss due to dementia. Her arts-based programs of research and nursing practice focuses on experiences of how human beings live, grow and transform with loss.
